Digital Sensors

These sensors allow us to obtain high resolution images safely and comfortably, while greatly reducing the radiation exposure as compared to traditional film x-rays. That way early detection and treatment can take place and help you save time and money related to bigger dental issues.

Dr Matthew Bender and Dr Scott Lewis at Meadowbrook Dental in Salt Lake City, Utah use digital X-ray sensors to limit radiation exposure and increase image quality

Handheld X-Rays

This handheld x-ray unit allows the technician to quickly obtain x-ray images without having to leave the room between each capture. That way you don’t have to remain biting on the x-ray sensor tabs as long. This is especially nice for those who have a sensitive gag reflex.

Dr Matthew Bender and Dr Scott Lewis at Meadowbrook Dental in Salt Lake City, Utah have a Nomad Pro 2 handheld Xray Unit for taking X-rays efficiently, comfortably, and safely.

3D CBCT Imagery

Some procedures require more detailed imagery to ensure that you receive the highest quality of care. CBCT technology allows us to visualize your teeth and jaw in 3D. This is essential for the placement of dental implants, treatment of root canals, and extraction of wisdom teeth.

Intraoral Cameras

We like for you to be an active participant in your treatment. That’s why we like to take pictures of concern areas to help you understand why treatment is needed. The better you understand concern areas, the better we can work as a team to improve your oral health!
