In-Office Whitening

In-office whitening is a procedure performed in the dental office and provides the fastest results. Most people see an increase in brightness between 2-4 shades in 1 hour. It is important to continue practicing consistent at-home whitening to maintain the progress made in the office.

How it’s done
The gum tissue is coated in a protective gel, and the whitener is applied to the teeth. It is left in place for 15min while a special blue light helps to activate the whitener, improving results. After 15min, the whitener is removed, and reapplied.

This process is repeated 3 more times for a total of 1 hour.

The teeth and gums are then cleaned and rinsed.

Custom Whitening Trays

Consistent use of custom whitening trays are the best way to maintain a bright white smile. Results are typically seen more gradually, but the same outcome in-office whitening is achievable.

How it’s done
Impressions are made of the patient’s teeth and custom-fitted trays are fabricated just for you.

Whitener is applied to the trays as needed and the trays are worn for variable durations. The amount of time worn per use is less important than the regular use.
